Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Mobile Pet Salon In San Jose

Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.

Rachel recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.

The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.

Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. These cuts were so bad that they bled."

Marianna De las Vegas, customer of Wow! My Dog posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel stated, "Juliann informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his animal abuse ad own dog."

Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
